gifs are fucking huge, like 3mb for 5 seconds at a super small size
would be nice to be able to post 15 second short things that are under 1mb. you could keep sound disabled even.
plus it could be functional for the rest of the forum
people could upload short 10 second things showing exactly what their cheat engine tables do inside of the game

what the fuck does that have to do with anything? i was just using 4chan as an example because its the only place i know of with webM support. and then i gave specific examples of how it could be used here specifically

I do think that DarkByte cares, and sometimes he does some cool shit for us :3 (putting a side the fact that he hosts the forum and lets up gather here which is cool enough)
I see him lurking here now and then, and in fact he has implemented some of our requests in the past.

Lmao you're dumb. 4chan is bad yeah, but not because of "eleven year old children.". 4chan is bad because of the stupid "muh unique internet culture" mentality the posters generally have; The site itself is functional and works well.
Anyway. WebM is super good and in most cases can function just like an image (see: gfycat, reddit, etc).
