Hi everybody,

First of all, I know multiplayer cheats are against your forum rules, which is also in my interest, since I hate multiplayer hackers.

Since Fifa 12 you're not able to choose legacy defending in the controller setup, when you're going to play online, which is in my opinion, a huge mistake from EA. As long as you play offline, no matter if you play with others offline, you can always choose legacy defending instead of tactical defending.

A lot of players also wish to have a choice between legacy and tactical defending in Fifa 14 online but EA still didn't implement it.
Now, I want to try to modify the game a little, so you're able to choose legacy defending in the online controller setup.

The point is, if I can get it to work within the next weeks and you're able to use both, legacy and tactical defending in online mode, am I allowed to release the trainer on this board?

Why this is not an online hack for me?
Legacy defending is only another style of defending, that fits way better to my playing style since it's more aggressiv in my opinion.
Tactical defending is more defense and room based. Of course I could used to be good with tactical defending, too, with some time of training. Just can't see a reason, why EA restricts us players in this defending style... I grew up with legacy defending since Fifa 98 and played every yearly released Fifa. Only skipped Fifa 12 and 13 because of this annoying defense mode :>

You absolute don't get an adventage when playing with legacy defending! It's just a matter of your personal playing style.

Though I never played Fifa, I assume it's just something like a Controller Layout (?). Then it ould not be a hack IMO.

It's not a controller layout.

When you get in the controller setup while playing online, you can't change your defense mode.It's a disable menu point. You are forced to play with tactical defending, which just pisses me off...

But as you can't get an advantage in the game itself, I can't see something that would restrict this...

You will not be allowed to post any modifications for online gameplay, for legal reasons. It doesn't matter how harmless is your modification, it's simply not allowed.

Tactical defending requires more skill, get skillat!

I do know how to make an online game go out of sync i.e. you are losing 5-0 and you dont feel like adding that to your record. Pm me
