Bought a galaxy tab a while back and ended up never using it. If you have a laptop already for uni, there's no reason to have a tablet imo.

Well my phone is kinda slow and the accelerometer/gyroscope is dead so I was thinking it was a good replacement.
My laptop has no battery life and needs to always be plugged in, plus the keyboard is starting to fall apart.

Tablets are just easier to use on the go, you know? The battery also lasts like five times longer than your average laptop, and they're made to be left in standby all the time, unlike laptops. Leaving laptops in standby 24/7 isn't very healthy for them.

if your laptop doesnt get 10 hours of battery life youre fucking up son
get a think pad and put gentoo on it, and an ssd, the battery will last forever
tablets fucking blow and have no purpose currently, once battery life and wireless is improved such as game streaming i will see that they can be useful as ultra lightweight devices (just carry a Bluetooth controller) until then they suk
