Hi all, i'm new here so i hope i'm in the right Section to post my problem.
I'm playing Hobbit the armies of third age (fb game), and i was trying to change some value with cheat engine 6.3.
I have successfully changed the value, but if i try to use it doesn't work.
Especially my problem is this: i have 4186 soldiers, and i changed the number from 4186 to 41860. But if i try to use them i have an error how you can see in the screen. Where i wrong? Anyone can help me?

Welcome.
Obviously you did not find the "right" value and there could be a number of reasons for this.
It is possible the value you are trying to find is stored in multiple places. You apparently found a temporary one. Try to find a value that works on a different screen. For instance, slider values are almost always a temporary copy from the "real" value. You CAN usually reverse add/sub instructions on sliders if you can disassemble the slider code if that's your thing.
For instance, search for 4186 outside of troop select screen. Go into troop select screen and disband 10 units. Go out of screen again and search for new value 4176. Play around and use your imagination.

I made a first search with cheat engine with the value of 4186, after i moved 100 soldiers and made the new research and is where i got that error.

The error seems to result from the fact that it tries to substract the amount of soldiers from another unmodified value and this seems to result in a negative.
Try widening the seach for value type "ALL" and search again. There must be another address that stores the "real" value.
