People barely run programs that are completely legit, source given out, and proper screenshots. Giving them any reason to believe it's a virus goes against your favor.
I remember making a CEF game thread where it'd ask the users questions, and the first one to answer it right wins. It was fun, but nobody trusted my program even with source given out.

I have the source, I just don't know where. It's been ages since I did that thread, and honestly, I'd rather it stay private. Besides being a pain in the ass to locate the source, I doubt t'll be up to my coding standards.
