Am I the only one who seems to be extending his stays in the gym with each month. I started with going an hour ~ hour and a half. I somehow ended up going two ~ two and a half hour every visit. I keep increasing sets/reps/weight, or just repeat the exercise because my stamina seems to increase more than my actual muscle mass. What the shit?

Also, I went to the doctor last week because my left lower leg lost all sensation during one of my sessions. I seem to have a form of shin splints which leaves me with a left lower leg that has no sensation whatsoever. Found out it's not really a bad thing considering:

#1 Some people with shin splints experience (severe) pain instead of no sensation.
#2 I can actually push through exercises much easier now because I don't feel anything in my lower half of my left leg. There is no loss of power or stamina. I'm hoping my right lower leg will follow soon.

Don't worry Ani, pokemon X and Y are out in a few weeks. You won't have to gym to pass the time anymore.

During summer I was in there nearly 3 hours a day, but I was eating a lot more than I was now and had extra time.

The trick is to work each body part you plan to work all the way through. Try to get 12-16 sets for major bits like chest, then 8-12 sets of stuff like shoulders.

So my chest days lately would be like

4x12 bench
4x12 incline bench
4x12 dbell press
4x12 guillotine or incline dbell press

Then I'd go to shoulders

4x12 Overhead press
4x12 behind neck press
4x12 lateral raise

Then tris, etc.

Following programming like that, with a one minute rest between sets, 2-3 minute rest between exercises, it's usually extremely hard to push out even 2 more sets of a worked body part. So I think just look at how you're working body parts. Don't do 4 sets of chest, then 4 sets of shoulders, then 4 sets of tris, another 4 sets of chest, etc. Get all your sets out for each body part in one go; 16 chest sets, 12 delt sets, 12 tri sets. And wear a watch to monitor rest times.

EDIT: Also, if you're not doing 4x10-15 you're not doing the best rep range for mass. 4x15+ builds endurance 4-5x1-8 builds strength. I've started doing just straight 4x12s for everything with some good results. Make sure you're in a large cal surplus, winter's almost here, engage bearmode. I hit my goal weight of 200lbs, so I'm doing keto to get down to 180 or so before going bearmode the remainder of the winter.

Yes it will be digital. To avoid taxes I bought it physically from amazon.
