can some one please help me decode "8+5C" the offset and also if i could get a link or basic text to understand how to decode the next offset by my self Smile

i'm going for infinity ammo in The mummy. first pointer have the offset (esi+edi*8+5C)

But still, have you tried the pointerscanner? Because it's MUCH easier than manual pointer searching.

i used calculator to figure out the result but cant fully understand how and why the result is what it is, but it works though

set my default windows calculator mod to programmer and then choose hex

edi = 0000003

offset edi*8+5c

so i just typed 3*8+5c and it = 74

It is basic maths except in hex instead of integers. Hex uses base 16, google it up its easy you will understand it in no time Smile
