We know that all values(health,gold.....) of a mmorpg are stored on the server.
But i have found hacks that work on it like adding gold to account etc.
How is it possible to change values on the server??

Changing anything stored on the server is a result of an exploit, bug, or direct hack that is considered illegal.

Not all games store everything server sided though that is dependent on the game.
