I started playing a game on my iPhone called Underworld Empire a little while ago, it's one of those pay-to-win games where you can play for free but you can use real money to accelerate the growth of your character. Everything is housed on their server, every click done by the user gets sent to their server and so on and so forth.

Recently there was a wave of hacking done to the game to boost one's stats, money, items and even premium currency. I know that this was done by modifying the packets sent from the server to the user, and I also know that the data is not encrypted.

I'm using Charles proxy to send my internet traffic from my iPhone through my PC. I can see the packets being sent and received but I don't know how to modify those packets to my advantage just yet.

This is the reason for this thread, does anyone have any experience with similar games? I visit another forum and the mere mention of a server based game made them all say it was un-doable. This is why I'm trying my luck here. I'm hoping someone can help me hack this game before it gets patched.

One of the main reasons why I'm asking here is that the people that can hack the game are actually charging people a ridiculous amount of money to hack people's account. It's like 25$ per lieutenants, when you consider it takes 256 of the same lieutenant to max it, and that there are around 70 different lieutenants in the game, that is an insane amount of money (real money, not in game money) to spend.

I'm hoping this made sense, English isn't my main language

Anyone? I know it might be complicated for some users but someone must know a way to get this done?

And I mean it's not like I'm speculating that maybe it's doable, I know for a fact that this has been done and is still being done as I type this. We just need to figure how they are doing it.

I thought a game that often gets in the top 20 top grossing game (right now it's #25 and with an event in about a week it should be higher still) would get more attention from the hacking crowd!
