Cheat Engine

Hey there,

I would like to request some help or guidance regarding an specific matter, i'm new to cheat engine, followed introduction tutorial and have a clear grasp of how i should proceed to do basic stuff.

Now I want to edit a piece of LUA script which is wrapped into an application dll. I found it in memory viewer, also used Structure Spider and selecting string scan found most address and offsets which have the code i'm interested on. But I have no idea how to edit this to make it work once I launch the application which this program enhances using that LUA script.

Anyone kind enough to guide me a bit through this? or suggest what should I look for.
