perhaps your family couldnt afford to do such things for you.
all ive ever had is home-made cake and ice cream, no events or shit ever, never a large group of people.. 20 at most? and most are all family.
you shouldn't be jealous, help him enjoy it more you whore.

I've always said no thanks to parties and went to the movies with a close friend or two.
Now I don't feel obliged to pay back cheap shitty presents and nobody expects me to go to their parties either.
Win/win.
I think your brother is being ridiculously spoiled and will never truly appreciate anything given to him at that age, because kids are like that, but considering the direction our world is taking I think you should help him have as good a time as possible since his generation has to clean up our parent's and grandparent's and ancestor's bullshit.
