|
|
Hey,
i'm very new in this forum and on cheat engine also..
I tried to play around a bit with Borderlands 1, but it doesn't work the way I want
e.g. when I want to freeze my health, I scan for the adress.
After a while i get one adress which seems to be right because its value goes along with the health. But when i freeze it, it just keeps changing its value...
I already tried to set an NOP to whatever writes to this adress, but it didn't work either...
Does anyone has an idea why it still changes?
(Sorry for bad english, Im german )

| You probably have the wrong value, I call them visual values. These are values which are used to render the health on your screen. which is not the real value.

Holy Sh*t... I finally found the solution. Although my shield was at e.g. 4953, the adress of it has another value, something at 6*10^6
Anyway, thank you for getting me do another scan... I only tried it with exact value, but decreased and increased types made it

Perhaps it's a different value type.
If it's a very big value, it usually means it was stored as type float or double
