I'm a newbie. I have been trying to cheat some games for a scorehack. not only by editing the score value. For example while playing a game, i have picked a point then my score is increased to 10. now i'm trying to change that 10 into 100 or something..

i have found the address and instruction that controls the score.here it is


mov [esi+58], eax


If i inject a code that moves 100 to the particular pointer, the game crashes or score increased by 100 at single time. now what to do? :roll: :roll: :roll:

So, the game crashes only some of the time? What code did you use?

no . i have 4 types of score increasing. added with 5, 7, 10 and 50. but all the time same instruction is executed. that code you given doesnt works.

Maybe you could be more specific instead of just saying that it doesn't work. What happens? Did it crash? Was your score effected at all?

Maybe you can show me your entire script?

You can test, with this:

mov [esi+58],#100

That should always give you 100 points...no more, no less...assuming you have the correct instruction. Your score will always be 100, but at least we can check to make sure we are at the right location.

I was forget to mention it. There is also a way of increase score with hits. At the time of dispersing hits score is increased with multiplication of 10 with hits. When i use code injection with

add eax, #100

nothing happened. But the exact thing that i expect was happened when i use an multiplication code.

imul eax,eax,0A

signed multiplication of eax with 10. But when there is an addition of score because of hits the game crashes. How could i find the difference and how to prevent game from crashing
