| I found a pointer, but you have to enter in a Hex value. Is there a way via cheat engine to make it display its dec number, and any dec input turns into hex? sort of like an easy way to enter in an amount instead of hacking to convert dec to hex every time?

rightclick it in the addresslist and choose "show as hexadecimal"
but really, if you have to do that, you must have done something wrong before that

I actually just searched the forums for this exact problem.
I thought I was doing something wrong, I was looking for the result 0002A27E, and the pointer kept giving me 172670.. In calculator when converting to HEX it's the exact value I wanted, 2A27E.
I mean, it can't really be coincidence right? Or perhaps it is
EDIT:
Thank you Dark Byte! After changing the option to "Show as Hex", changing the pointer value was able to change the value of the original address, boo ya!
Thanks
