Cheat Engine

A friend of mine purchased Stronghold 2 at walmart and I wanted to play a game with him since we had played crusader a week ago. The problem is that the game removed the ai from it and I like playing co-cooperatively.

After doing some googling I cam across this post

Google "How to add AI to Online Play!!!! Stronghold 2"

which says he enabled the multiplayer button that is usually enabled in single player which he was able to do just by modifying some numbers. At the end of the post he says "If this works, it will take me awhile to make a "patch", if I can, otherwise I will inform you of the other ways of doing this." which I'm assuming he used some sort of value editor to modify the game.

I have made several attempts to change the screens and possibly find a value that stores the current screen number but this was to no avail. I can usually modify numbers in the game like gold ect. but this is a mystery to me.

Yeah I can't post any links yet but it's not to big of a problem.

The button's state is handled on the client not over an internet connection.
