WoW does endgame correctly, unlimited leveling wouldn't keep the game interesting, people would min max it and grind and it would be fucking dumb, you need to give the players incentive to compete with each other, even in PvE situations, like in WoW, where world firsts are highly competitive.

the problem with having classes that highly differ , is that people most of the time also min max which are the best stats and go with cookie-cutter builds regardless of how much variety you give them, making balancing of a smaller amount of variety easier than a fuckton of options that no one really cares about because it makes them less viable. path of exile does it correctly with their gem system, and path of exiles end game is very good as well, with it taking a long time to reach max level as well as having many different things to do

if Elder Scrolls Online is good, it will be everything that you want, its the only mmo im actually the least bit interested in

I wouldn't mind a multiclass system, where you're not bound to one archetype at the start. Path of Exile did this properly, for example.

- No maximum level

This would be massively unbalancing or leveling would mean little/be impossible at the higher levels.

Wouldn't exactly remain secret long. Just "slightly hidden".

- Unique weapons and items (only one per server)

Almost every game has this. You just never see them. And if you did, you'd prob not like their unbalanced nature.

This list makes me think you just want to be some special person in the game with a unique skill/item, like that guy in SAO.
Keep dreaming, you'll never be a protag.

mabinogi has all of these

randomly generated dungs
unique weps per server
no max level
multi class
"secret" skills

I'm interested in that and WildStar.

kind of, but yeah. I agree.
and I'm making one with all those things.
except distributable stat points, I'm making an automatic stat distribution system, that makes you earn more stats (on a 20 different stats system) depending on what you do in the game.

Oh, nice! Let me know when you're going into beta!

yea actual rp makes an mmo fun imo but thats just community u cant program a good roleplaying community

There's this French MMORPG I play that does a pretty good job at getting its players into role playing. It has a tutorial in game that teaches you how to role play, as well as lots of dedicated pages on its website. But yeah, even still not many people actually do. They used to, but the community kind of died out.

Well the thing with most games is that once you reach the highest level (and finish all the quests) there's not really much to do anymore except pvp, but all characters of the same level are pretty much matched in strength.
Unlimited leveling and/or special weapons would keep the game interesting. This is also why I'm a fan of distributable stat points and different classes, it makes characters more different from one another. Though most people of the same class still distribute their stats likewise.

I disagree. After a few months there's a lot of people that wouldn't have any interest in picking the game up because of how hard/impossible it would be to catch up at that point.

I want a game with as much customization as Champions Online. Because the customization in that game is awesome as hell and actually convinced me to give it money.

Customization is actually a huge selling point for me. Also, I never actually got around to playing Champions online. How does it compare to DCUO?

The combat is less action oriented and the controls require tweaking when you first play a character. But if you're ok with classic tab-targeting it's a fantastic MMO.
Customization is definitely its main focus and if you're into roleplaying it makes it better.
I myself don't care for tab-targeting and would prefer it if Champions had the combat system that DCUO has, but it's not enough to make me prefer DCUO.

You can pretty much make any character from any game/movie, or obviously use your imagination and make something original. I've made stuff ranging from a robot Abraham Lincoln to a Gremlin and ruined rp weddings with said gremlin (along with a bunch of friends who also made gremlin characters).

On top of that they dish out content and updates pretty much every month or so.

Fair enough. I might try it out, might not. DCUO's world pvp is just too fun (anywhere >level 15 anyway), I've never really tried the endgame.
