Never seen Evangelion, until the movies came out. Really like 2.0, not a big fan of 3.0. Very much looking forward to 4.0, as I believe this holds the conclusion? Also very curious what happened to the Rei from 2.0. What else was weird, was that 3.0 suddenly had this gay vibe with the piano and Eva scenes.

gay vibe happens in the episodes that are equivalent to 3.0
afaik rei is the same change as the show as well
i havent watched 3.0 yet, I just finished rewatching the show and EoE tonight

Claymore was horrid in the anime. I only realized it after the manga. The storyline in the manga is so much more awesome. Apparently there is an entirely different race that the continent is at war with, and the abyssal ones are just test subjects who have failed to become super soldiers. The other race is supposedly on par with the abyssal ones. Nothing about that was seen in the anime.
