Have you tried any higher end headphones?
I'm asking that genuinely, not trying to sound snobby or anything. There really is a massive difference using quality headphones. I'm excited for these because they're pretty new tech and have been getting some crazy hype and impressions from the head-fi community.
And what's wrong with in-ears? They're more convenient for me around campus, gym, and work than on or around ear headphones.

In ear headphones are good.
But I'll never understand why someone would spend more than 200 dollars on headphones. Would just be a huge waste of money for me.

I guess the reason someone would spend a lot of money on anything else really. I mean, I have a full time job and only drink/eat out socially with a few good friends. I don't really party or go clubbing. I'm not big into games anymore either, and I have no guitar equipment or pc upgrades I want so the money doesn't matter all that much to me.
@Hero. I was looking at the Sennheiser ie80s as well, but these consistently beat them out in every aspect in a/b impressions or reviews so yea. I also didn't want over ears because I'd look like a douchebag in the gym and work likely wouldn't permit them.
This thread wasn't about the money for em lol, it's more if you look up the tech and impressions of these, it's pretty amazing.
