Good luck man,
I know some people who started studying for architect but quit halfway through. It's a lot of work, but if it's something you're really interested in it shouldn't be much of a problem.
My sister's boyfriend is an architect, and he seems to love his job. He also designed their future house himself, which is pretty awesome and handy.
