we are attempting to change a puffles name
I downloaded cheat engine 5.6.1
I open the game on my browser and the and the small box blinks on cheat engine
I opened the blinking computer on the top left corner and select open process.
The instructions say the game should be present in the open process list.
When I open the process list I do not get that oprion. I have a iexplore.exe process and a win rar process but no club penguin process.
Are there any really good directions out there ??
Thanks

| Club Penguin is a game you play in your browser (apparently internet explorer), so the process you must select is one of the iexplore.exe.

Though, I'm not exactly sure for OSX-based systems.
If you're having trouble, try this:
- Download & Install Firefox for OSX
- Install the Flash player plugin from the Adobe website
- Browse to the URL where your game is.
- Allow the game to load, then run Cheat Engine.
- In CE, look for a process similar to "FlashPlayerPlugin"
- - If found, attach to it and have fun!
- - If NOT found, attach to Firefox
After trying this, let me know if you have any other trouble. I'm running Win7 on my MBP, but I can always dual-boot into OSX to see how things work on that side (I didn't even know there was a Mac version of CE).

Well if you're using wine and an EXE, then it is being loaded into wine.
This is much less desirable since you cannot isolate the Flash process, and instead are forced to search for a game within the Flash process within the Wine emulator.
Just download firefox for mac --> support[dot]mozilla[dot]org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-mac
And the flash plugin for mac --> www[dot]bbc[dot]co[dot]uk/webwise/guides/plugin/flash/mac-firefox
Then search for either the flash plugin, plugin container, or the firefox process (in that order).
