I have a 9800gt which games just fine across two monitors, only tomb raider so far has put it through excessive stress, and that's just bad coding.
My point is that gpu's from the last few years are still viable, the new ones are only necessary to run next gen shit on max settings and eyefinity x3+ etc.

Not playing games I bet. 5500 series GPU are low profile. Probably fine for videos and shit, but facebook games would probably rape it.
