|
|
I am using save game analyzer to try to unlock more characters, but I am not sure how to properly do it. After unlocking a character, I run another scan, and end up with 26 values that changed in the save file. I took a couple of these addresses and checked them against the save file with a hex editor, and also checked them in the game/exe file with cheat engine. None of the values are matching up. For example, in the hex editor, the save file shows a bunch of zeros at the addresses that sga found. In cheat engine, when I look at the addresses for the game.exe in memory viewer, I find that they are also zeros, or some totally different value.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks. |

Does anyone know how to contact the author of this software? I tried contacting him via the email listed in the help file, and it is no longer valid - along with his website.
Or, if anyone can suggest an alternative solution, I would be grateful.
Thanks. |

| Never mind. I figured it out. The addresses weren't matching up in my hex editor, because the default settings in Savegame Analyzer were set to show addresses in decimal format. Very strange. |
