Hi, All,

I am using memory view of CE to see the memory of a loaded game. I noticed that there is a column of "comments" in the disassemble window, somehow, it shows some useful "hints" for this game. But, I am wondering how these "comments" come from?

If the game is retail, and you did not write the comments, then they were left by the developer(s). If you're using a cracked version of the game, then the comments could be those left by the developer(s) or the author(s) of the crack.

It is not uncommon.

i've seen stuff like that before. it's interesting because i always thought comments do not get compiled into executable projects... ok.

Comments can be saved.

The comments if not modified by userdefined comments are the result of cheat engine inspecting the instruction and determining if there is more information. E.g if a value represents an address it , and the address contains a string, it will show the string
