Hi just got a new laptop the day with windows 8.
Tried to run cheat engine the same time as my golf game but the shock wave player crashes every time.
Do i need to change settings in the cheat engine or is there a problem with the flash player.
I have the 6.2 version of cheat engine
The golf game is web based and i us comodo dragon browser if it helps

So just running cheat engine without ticking any options crashes it?
Usually people crash in windows 8 when they try the speedhack, but since you crash without doing anything I'm not sure.
If you DID enable speedhack and just forgot to mention it, then try the 32-bit ce, or add this code to your main.lua file:
function onOpenProcess()
reinitializeSymbolhandler()
registerSymbol("QueryPerformanceCounter", "kernel32.queryperformancecounter", true)
end
If that's not it, try a different browser (no app)
