|
|
1. Do I need to generate my trainer before seeing any font changes?
2. Is there an easy way to add or edit a hotkey without all of my cheat listings (descriptions) getting hosed?
I am using custom builder, Cheat Engine 6.2 64-bit.
Thanks.

1: No, font changes should be shown in the form designer while you make those changes.
Or do you mean runtime generated fonts ? If so, you need to execute the scripts and test them manually
2: Set the descriptions in your cheat table, don't change them in your trainer window
If you wish to change a description, go to the cheat table and change it there, then rightclick in the trainer list of cheats and refresh

I am referring to the font settings that are provided in the custom trainer builder. Changing the font settings does not seem to populate the 'preview trainer' in real time. I have not generated a trainer to test if the changes actually take effect; I have just been using all of the default font settings.
Regarding question number 2, I will have to test this, because no matter what I tried, all of my descriptions were hosed and my hotkey text wasn't even showing, even though they were enabled.
When I get a chance, I'll take screenshots or a video capture of what I am experiencing, if you prefer.
Thanks.

The text editor seems to be working, all of a sudden. Perhaps I could not get it working the other day because I had been tinkering around for too long and bugged something up.
I have not checked to see if your solution for editing cheats/hotkeys will work yet. I will report back, when I do.
By the way, I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to center the check box (for toggling cheats) so that it is centered, vertically, with the text description?
2. How do I make use of the slider bar and other items? Specifically, how do I integrate these with my cheats, such as changing values and/or listing sub-cheats under a drop-down menu? I have tried separating these items so that they are not grouped with any cheat panel, etc., but I cannot add individual cheats as children entries under these items.
Thanks.

1: After all cheats ar added change the positions manually.
2: That means you want a more advanced trainer instead of a generic trainer. In that case delete the whole CHEATPANEL object from the trainer (or create your form from scratch) and add the labels and other objects manually
Then just generate the script only and manually add visual indicators to the gui if you like. (or just leave it)
Then save the table as a .exe with cheat engine and generate the trainer
