I've had no luck so far, tracing the function responsible for deciding your pick. I'm trying to make and auto-picker hack, that will immediately pick desired hero.

I'm confused because all the values I tried seem to be secondary. When I freeze them and then pick a hero, it doesn't use supplied value.

Can you help me trace the right pointers, or just point me in the right direction. What would be the best way to insta-ninja-pick a hero?

I'm thinking of writing a program that will call pick function as soon as game gets to the hero selection screen, but it all comes down to tracing main game logic.

I would macro it and always use the grid selection.
You could use a color picker on a certain pixel to determine when picking has started.
If you feel like making some sort of hook you'll probably end up banned once some form of anti-cheat is enabled on some moba game.

I thought this kind of modifications are possible without injection, or no?

Moreover it is not actually a "hack". It's a utility, so that if I have to answer a phone call for example I would still get the desired hero Smile

And hack or not it's still an unfair advantage.
