A few questions about seedboxes.
A) I have a VPS iwth like 4gb ram and other good specs, if I setup a transmission on there will it effect the perofmance in a noticeable way? It hosts 1 major website with like 4 to 7k hits daily.
B) I'm pretty sure it's not worth it but, what are the advantages of buying a VPS listed as 'seedbox' rather than just buying a VPS and setting it up myself.
I am doing this because my what.cd ratio sucks massive cock.

1. Your bandwidth will be affected depending on how many peers you connect to. This may slow loading times for your users.
2. Seedboxes are preconfigured vps's for seeding, so the only advantage they may have is they are cheaper, or sacrifice power for better connection speed.
3. How dare you have less than 100 ratio.

you'd be install transmission-daemon if you want a web gui, takes almost no resources, it depends on the amount of torrents really
4-7k hits a day is nothing, you wont see a difference
i wouldnt buy a vps listed as seedbox, the good thing is that they dont generally meter your bandwidth, but overall, they're really oversold and you wont get promised speeds
setting it up your self takes around 2 mins and no real thought, so you're better off buying an actual leb vps
