3-4k tops | For one game maybe but to be better than the two top sellers it'd cost a lot more than that because if it didn't cost that much people would have done it already and would just make money out of it easily.

I don't know what game he's talking about or what hacks he wants but I can assure you that anybody who makes bots/hacks for a living will take a contract from a hack selling site as well as a percentage of all sales.
Making hacks and trying to sell them yourself is a pain because there's no guarenteed income up front and you have to advertise and provide support on top of updating your software.
If you just make and sell your software to someone who takes care of the rest, everything is smoother.
I'm talking about people who literally live off of making and selling bots for d3/swtor/gw2 etc.
None of them would ever ask for $10 grand up front, it's just stupid.
Most I've heard of something selling for is $3 grand and it took a year to develop.
They've probably made another $5-10 grand off of sales since release (maybe a year ago?), and as long as they keep updating it they will have that income for years to come.

If so it would make sense to charge a percentage of sales rather than just a flat rate.
Also what game is it for?

Maplestory. He sells his own client himself since the beginning. He advertises it with a BT lite client that has limited functionality and no measures of anti-ban support such as auto logs and what not.
He has been in the business for a few years now and only keeps updating the client. All profit is his.

That's called scamming bro. | Making hacks and paying people to not make hacks isn't exactly moral. Someone that does that deserves to be scammed. Also I'm pretty sure hacking online games AND making a profit off of the hacks isn't legal... so if he takes legal action against someone who scams him then he'd probably get some shit brought down on him too.
But I'm sure teeigeryuh is wrong about the guy.
