2v3 is not that much of a difference, especially if the guy drops early.
You get more experience, so you're higher levels. Constantly pushed lanes allow for enough farm.
If the enemy team doesn't know how to push objectives, they can't push to win.
One dumb move on their side, though, means 2v2 with your side being overleveled, and thus able to push hard.

nah, I'm gonna wait till I can almost always win lane as Riven and Ahri at my current state, and I don't even have good enough runes.

also in that game it was 2v1 top against me
