Every time I click the button to load a table, Cheat Engine (6.2) crashes. I tried reinstalling, and then I tried fully uninstalling using Revo, restarting the computer, and installing it again, all to no avail. I am running Windows 8 64-bit.

Try C.E 6.2 (32bit)
(If you didn't remove anything for 'Start' then you should see 3 C.E files, ones that auto selects C.e based on your system type, and 2 others are 64 bits and 32 bits, so run the 32 bit one.)

remove any multi display tools (especially if you have an amd display card)
besides that try the 32-bit ce
