amd 4600 series, i dont know which exactly, because the card itself has no branding and I think its some chinese shit since it was in a prebuilt dell inspiron 530
i replace it with a 6500GT we had in this other pc

my desktop has a GT240, MSI, never gets hot and I have pretty standard cooling throughout the system.
I never owned anything from the 300-400 series so I wouldn't know about those from personal experience. But all of my 9000 series cards had pretty good cooling as well.
Laptop has a 560M which caps at around 50-60 degrees Celsius, which isn't too bad as far as I know, especially considering it's in a gaming laptop.
