i think he means he found an external enclosure like NAS or raidbox with 10tb. Right now the biggest single hdds are 4TB from what i saw but raid ones can go much higher

| I currently have 2 terabytes myself which only have like 100 gigs remaining. I plan to either get a second drive or upgrade the drive, which ever is more cost effective.

I've got 2 external 1tb, 1 internal 1tb, 2 internal 360gb and 1 internal 150gb ssd.
300 gb remaining in total.
if he indeed is talking about NAS.. then 10tb is small. You could technically have it infinitely large - if it would fit in the physical box, that is. Although RAID wouldn't work all that well with more than, say, 10 drives.

The largest retail external HDD is 3 Tb and there are some 4 Tb around. Internal is a different story but you have to be careful of the 3Tb barrier on standard processors. ARM technology bypasses this but isn't found in alot of desktops or laptops......yet
