I mean in all honesty it's the greatest long-running series (yes, better than dragonball), and I watched it since 2004 so it has many feels embedded within me.
The problem: there are a total of ~1830 hours of runtime. |

;_;
I want to so bad.
Ok if I remove the fillers, it's probably only 1000 hours.
Still... |

It's just so lame watching it in Japanese after seeing the first 270 in English. |

pick one.
theres only 16 seasons, it only takes 1 day or 2 to watch season, should be done in 1 month if you dont get bored.
Ill watch them all eventually when I have the HDD space to download all 16 season in blu ray since its probably the best out of the 3 super mainstream animes (naruto bleach one piece) |

I thought FMA was mainstream, and it's way up there. |

Unless they remake the first 10 seasons or so into 16:9 br, which they didn't last I checked, you're going to be stuck with dvdr.
And yeah, I haven't seen one piece, but I rate it higher than naruto.
I mean naruto has 10-20 terrific episodes throughout the entire series, the rest are shit. Bleach has 20-25 terrific episodes maybe, and the rest are just decent.
I was sad when it abruptly halted, one of these days I'm going to pick up the manga where the anime stopped, cause I need more of dat bleach, especially after what happens in the last season which is actually like on par with what else aired that season. |

Did you see the new movie for it yet? Sacred Star of Milos, it was actually pretty good for the most part. |

I watched all of fma and the shambala movie in one sitting, because I kept catching pieces of it on adult swim and I'm like, that's it, gonna watch this shit.
It's still probably in my top 10 of all time.
I haven't watched brotherhood or anything after that, just cause I heard it was basically a remastering with a few plot changes.
What say you?

Well it's based on the idea that spirits or souls are in our bodies and the main character was basically recruited as a soul reaper so he gets to fly around in spirit form and use spirit energy etc.
Over 366 episodes he basically grows into a demigod yeah. |

what
Brotherhood is based on the manga, where the original was just a thing of it's own. They really tore some amazing shit out of it with the first. Brotherhood was better, imho; little things like the making of a homunculi vary GREATLY, and this makes it even nicer. |
