no because they take place in entirely different eras and wars with different campaigns based on them
because bl1 is fictional it cant just have an expanded story for an entirely new game.

did you co-op? I played it with a bro irl on his ps3 and it was LOADS more fun than when I tried to single player on pc (and I hate using controllers for fps games)
