Its for a friend he has about 700 bucks max to spend. Any thing i should change or suggest a better build? I know the hex is probably over kill i also know not a lot of amd fans here. I couldn't make a cheap intel build with a good GPU so i went AMD.

I would personally go for either a Corsair PSU or an OCZ Modstream PSU, as for the CPU, I would go for the AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition

Why old processor? its about the same price isnt it? and corsair and ocz psus are expensive =(

thanks for the build though, kls. was planning on building an affordable gaming rig to replace my laptop and i didnt want to spend a shitton of time looking and pissing around for good, affordable parts.

did i also mention how much i fucking hate the battery life?
