I had a gazillion theories, even including it really being obito. Izuna was top two.
This chapter sucked dicks though. No excitement, no build-up, the reveal itself sucked and instead of looking forward to the explanation we're just bored atm.

This doesn't make much sense to me.
I remember discussing the identity of Tobi (literally) years ago. I can't really remember what the main reasons were, but it was something about Kakashi suddenly getting a new eye technique while having one of Obitos eyes. Which meant Obito was revived or someone was using his body or something.
Also because Tobi as an obvious anagram for Obito.

It's one of the only viable explanations where all time-jumps fit and so on. Tobi fought the 4th hokage, controlled kyuubi, controlled the mizukage, wiped out the uchiha clan. All while being old. Obito was a child when Tobi attacked konoha (and the 4th hokage for that matter)

He doesn't look old and has a scar on his face, so there might be more than one tobi?
