It has been talked about before, but I feel like a music section would be a good addition to the general discussion area, as many of us post threads in other sections about music and topics involving music related activities etc.

It also has been said that it should be in the art forum, but I disagree because that is for paintings and pictures, and this is a completely different style of art and should have its own section.

For music discussion like " Hey duds check this artist out " I agree with a music subforum

For sharing your own creations I think that the art subforum would be more appropriate.

It would be fun sharing and exposing yourself to music diversity, but I don't think there would be any actual discussion aside from repition of "sick jam" or the likes.

What we could get from a music section is maybe a couple of threads that could be recommended threads for those who are wanting to look into a different genre(possibly a sticky so you don't have to go looking for it either), discussions of new/old music by an artist, but random flaming and "i hate this artist, you are stupid" comments would obviously not be allowed.

Would you please consider this Dark Byte?

Perhaps as a stricter subection of random spam? With actual mods and what not? I'm always cool with new music I enjoy that I never heard in the past so heh, it might help. Could always use it for help, too, with crap like FL Studio.

I will volunteer to mod, and it doesn't matter where the section is, to me.

A music section would be nice. With a mod or two, of course.
There is a music section on another forum I'm a member of, and I've found tons of new music I like from others that post.
It's a great way to discover new things, IMO.
