At least tell me what I could do to fix my airflow. Not sure if my idle temp for my CPU should be 46 degrees. Should I even worry? I mean fuck. I was playing portal, and I turned multicore processing on in the settings. My PC should handle that normally, not fucking heat up 30 degrees in 10 minutes.

Only worry if it hits 80c+
If it gets too hot it will shutdown by it self to prevent damage

Um, the xtx fan? no, I had 2 x1950 pros (saphire and diamond) and a pci x1900 xtx.
So i used the xtx fan on my x1950 diamond, and the x1950 did not support checking fan speeds.

It did shut down. But that's why I added the fan. I'm not sure how it's going to work with the fan installed, as I'm too afraid to check.
Annnd, as for your fans;
That sounds bawss as shit. I need dat. My fans are both at around 5k rpm and they can't seem to do the job well. Do you know how fast that other fan averaged?

Leave the case open and see how it turns out.

I JUST ran portal with multicore rendering, and I started playing an advanced map. Hoooly shit it still made it to 71 degrees, so I closed it quick. That's the exact tjmax value for my processor I berieve.
I'm going to try flipping the fan around, so instead of blowing cold air into my case it will blow hot air out. What do you think?
EDIT:
WOOOW. I see what I did wrong here. The fan I added isn't blowing cold air into the case. The PSU blows warm air right down, therefore the fan is simply just pushing all the warm air from the psu and throwing it right at my CPU

71c is safe.
And no, don't flip your fan, that's a worse idea.

So, yeah, I have a better place to put the fan. I'll just relocate it.

focus more on blowing hot air out rather than cold air in.

See, there we go. I'm sure I'll need to flip the fan.
God I don't know what I'm doing. Should I just take a pic of the internals and let you decide what I should do :\

Okay, I see now. It should follow the basic rules of
"Bottom suck air in
top blow air out
side suck air in
front suck air in
back blow air out "
