The question is, should I spend the 65 bucks on a copy?

If you like old jrpg's then yes. it's a good story and has some replay value

I've never played an old JRPG. Everyone says it's amazing, but would it be more worth it to spend the money on a few classics instead of just that one?

It really is an amazing game and it'd be just like buying it if it was new, since you've never played it. Shit tons of hours of game time.

but buying a bunch of games works just fine too.

Yeah, I basically have the choice, buy super metroid, star fox, link to the past, and contra 3, or just buy chrono trigger. I don't know, if chrono trigger is really that fucking good...

Okay. And then there's secret of mana, which is good because it has co-op.

so say I hace I have an 80 dollar budget, assuming cryoma comes through.
Chrono trigger- 70-80
Secret of Mana- 50
Others- 20-30

what would you say is the most worthwhile combination?
