I notice that my DLL shows symbols for my variables and functions in Cheat Engine. I was wondering if there was a way to turn this off, because I'd prefer if this data wasn't so easily available. Is my only option to rename all relative names to ambiguous things?

My DLL is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, if that helps any.
I tried building both debug and release versions, and they both contain the unwanted result.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated! I'm not quite sure where to even start with this.

programmatically this can be done with SplitSymbols. otherwise from memory, i believe that microsoft's rebase utility can be used to strip symbols too
