Don't think he "wants" it. Just... doesn't care either way. He doesn't particularly see the value of the forums because he only cares for the software.
Maybe he doesn't realise if the forums were much more active, more people would be aware of the program. Or perhaps he doesn't want it to be very popular or else it'll take up too much of his time updating/implementing features.

The thing is, this is a great multi purpose forums, however, how many people even still use cheat engine in the first place? I honestly haven't even been to the main website in years.

people still use it for
other popular fps like M.A.T
flash games
unity games
mooplestory
ect

Most don't even show up at all they just download C.E from the website and disregard the forums altogether.
