If you invest in stocks of a company that is doing well because it's very very popular that does not make you an idiot. In fact it makes you pretty smart, because you're making money out of something that's doing well. People buy Macs because of convenience/good customer service (especially when shit breaks or if they need something for their Mac but don't know where to go). Apple are known for their fucking excellent customer service and if someone has a lot of money they might actually want that along with the convenience of a prebuilt computer with an excellent screen and no baggage. I don't want a Mac, but I'm also not an idiot. |

Lol sure, that's why my roommate just took his laptop to the mac store to have his hard drive replaced and they handed him a sticky note with tigerdirect on it. I just swapped his hard drive out yesterday and got paid for it because he thinks it's magic.
Where do you get the idea that their screens are excellent? They're glossy pieces of shit, and that new one with the super high dpi is stupid and absolutely useless for designers. Also the baggage of not being able to do fucking anything is pretty fucking significant. |

Very much doubt that's true at all but if it is he's pretty unlucky. They're known for their good service and all of the designers and music producers I know vouch for it. Their screens are excellent and you're wrong completely. You're literally just making shit up and assuming it's bad for designers as if you actually are one (let's be honest you aren't a designer, you're a kid that downloaded photoshop a while ago) and if you honestly think that you can't do anything on a Mac, you're a fucking dumbass. Also, you can dualboot Windows quite easily, whereas you can't do the same the other way without using dodgy Hackintosh shit which isn't updated often/well at all. |
