I like the idea of a an os running with stronger integrity.
But it has its faults.

You really thinks he cares about making more money?
He just spent a shitton on getting hundreds of Linux developers to adapt Steam games to Linux to make it more interesting.

Through the entire article all the criticism is directed towards the windows inbuilt store.
No i guess he likes competition and he's supporting linux out of the kindness of his heart.
Everyone's trying to make money and fuck the competition over, that's how it works.
Picture kinda related.

| The entire metro UI is a fucking joke. I hate every single thing about it. It's 10 more steps to accomplish the same thing I can do now in 3 clicks. Even if you can disable it, I don't see a reason to use it ever. Microsoft is trying to hit an entire media market with a single OS and I don't think it'll work. It's going to fuck up majorly in one area somehow.

FUCKIN SHIT, THIS METRO UI FUCKING SUCKS...I mean yea I can disable it, BUT IT FUCKING SUCKS SO I'LL KEEP USING IT INSTEAD FUCK WINDOWS 8 IT SUCKS
God damn guys. I'm not a fanboy but it looks like yall are just clawing at any reason to hate a product that hasn't even been fully released yet, and every complaint thus far either has to wait till release to know whether or not it's valid, or can simply be avoided through a provided alternative.

ik lololol the whole idea of the metro UI was to make it eaiser for younger and older audiences who lack experience with computing and to also appeal to those people who like flashy touchy and playful UI

right now i press start button then type the program i want to start
in win 8 i'd have to press win+search, which redirects me to metro.
search for the program.
click on "programs / apps" because otherwise it searches for documents.
click on the program.
get sent back to desktop with the program open.
...wathefuck man
