Could somebody please give me advice on how to prevent a connection error in cnc ts when using a trainer over a lan game?

Tell every player to use the trainer to set YOUR resources to what you want at exactly the same time

Will that work even if the trainer messes with the build time, cooldown timer and adding resources?

That depends on the trainer. If it can affect the buidtime of enemies as well, then it should work.
Problem is that most trainer makers add in code so it only gives the current player instant build

So if it only affect the player build time then it will cause the game to unsyncronise?

yes
On all other systems your buildtime will go as usual, but on your system the buildtime goes faster
Now when you put out a new unit while the buildtime on the other systems don't expect a new unit, you'll get kicked for being out of sync

Thank you it makes sense. Is it possible to make a trainer so that the people I play together with that aren't AI will only have no buildtime and the AI will?
