What about alt rocket launchers for the soldier? Liberty launcher/black box/direct hit are all pretty well balanced to the original.

I would agree, to an extent. When I'm playing to win, I never use anything but default weapons. But when I want to have fun I sometimes enjoy messing with the other weapons and stuff.

I would agree, to an extent. When I'm playing to win, I never use anything but default weapons. But when I want to have fun I sometimes enjoy messing with the other weapons and stuff. |
Liberty Launcher makes it easier for people that are fucking terrible by making the rocket faster. All you have to do is shoot two rockets and most classes are dead, and if the third isn't enough and you can't reload your 3 rockets after shooting them then you're in a fucking stupid position. Not balanced at all.
Black Box is useless, ignore it.
Direct Hit is hugely overpowered. It takes away splash radius in exchange for fucking fast as fuck rockets that are piss easy to hit people directly with. When I play with the DH in pubs it is fucking hilarious because it's impossible for them to do anything.

the new scattergun sounds like it could be fun, but I really doubt it will be better then default one.
new rocket launcher might be alright, for people who dont rocket jump, but it might have really terrible accuracy making it pointless

The Scorch Shot sounds cool.
I love the normal flare gun.
Was kind of hoping for more stuff, rather than just 4 new weapons. Also think the soldier has more than enough weapons... should have done demo or something.

the normal flare gun is only good because of the damage it can do, especially when the target is being airblasted, take away 50% of its damage and a medic is just going to heal the person and it wont do shit at all
the soldier has a lot of shit but the demoman has an equal amount of shit, most of it is just melee weapons
