At this company where I'm at, they are getting a new system, so we are doing a risk and defect analysis of the different processes in this system. Basically creating a statistical sheet with the result of the testing. Could probably compare it with a risk analysis at an insurance company when you're getting an insurance for your car.

I don't think I completely understood but if it is what I think it is.. here you would get a normal practitioner salary which is around 300$ a month

He's a student so probably doing internship or placement where they typically pay grad salary. Grad salary of what he is describing is average at best.
