any of your choosing; the supplied education is a financial coverage. | After a year and a half in any branch you can enroll in ROTC training and be sent to any college (that allows ROTC which is just about every college) and they will pay for you to go and attain your bachelor's degree in any field you want even if it isn't related to your job in the military. After this you will be sent to OCS (officer candidates school). After completing that you will become a commissioned officer and be promoted to O-1 rank and pay. |

Besides basic training and specialized training opportunities, once you are stationed at a base your day is just like a regular work day except for daily PT sessions. You have free time to take classes. |

It really depends on what field you go into. Me personally if I get into the Red Beret training program I will have 2 years of my service put towards several very specific training camps for the special operative's program. Some position that Derrick is doing could easily lead to a degree in 3 years because he will basically be working a 9-5 job and then taking night classes if he chooses.
I will be given a G.I. Bill after my four year term which entitles the government to pay the bills on my college tuition along with a military discount at most stores. |

Yes you can. If you do choose to get a bachelor while in the service as well you can make the change to an officer through OTS and your pay basically triples if you simply switch from an Enlistee to an Officer.
If you are a 10 year enlistee and a 21 year old officer that has only done basic walks by, the enlistee will always salute an officer. It has its benefits for sure. |
