| I'm going in for Cyber Surety. I go down to MEPS Aug 1st for testing/job selection so after then I'll know what's going on. My past ASVAB (and current practice scores) pretty much guarantee me to be able to get any job I want. I'm still between AF and Navy at this point so I'm having the two recruiters come together and try to get me to either one.

I'm not expecting high salary from the military at all. It's what comes after the military that will be paying well. I plan to be a network engineer and the military is giving me the experience for my future career.

Yes, I'm a pussy because I dislike oppression and wish that people would stop making such idiotic decisions which will later lead to the death of humanity as we know it.

I'm not implying any of those things, I have no problem with violence and I realize that world peace is nothing more than a dream at this point. The military would be of use if it was doing what it was supposed to instead of mislabeling communities of people and attacking them for their resources. Nor do I believe the world will end, more of our rights will be taken away, we're already at a point where privacy is literally non-existent.

Ok. What did you score on your ASVAB because I'm taking mine within the next two weeks. I'm holding off on one month to train for the iron man qualification.

Average salary in US is 91k but in my area there are jobs at $150k but they require 5+ years experience which I'll get through the military. I figure if I just bank all my money I have from the military and not spend it, I'll have a decent sum to live off of while I look for a position or go to school and intern for a few years.

My junior year I scored an 82. Last time I was at the Navy recruiter they had to me a practice test (full test from a few years back) and I scored an 88 on it.
