Well you have to think, you're one of the few people who have ICS. Only about ~10% of the whole Android community have that, most of them have some version of Gingerbread, or something older.

Honestly, now that Google has purchased Motorola, I feel like Android devices will do much better in every company, especially with updates. They now have to compete with Google itself, and we all know Google will most def. keep their devices up-to-date.

As far as the OS goes, I do like Android better than iOS, however that being said, iOS is generally faster than Android. Android uses Java converted to native code by the Dalvik VM and iOS uses native code. But you guys probably already know this, so, anyway, moving on. I doubt iOS will never need 1GB of RAM, however, I'd say most Android devices do to keep things fluent.

I actually am liking the Windows Phone a lot atm, can't wait for Windows Phone 8. The Mango update has it running super fast, it has lots of cool features and what-not, but very little apps, free ones at that.

Linux OS:
- install it, feel like a hipster and start telling everybody how amazing it is.
- discover the windows emulator
- realise that you are using the windows emulator for 80% of the things you do on your PC
- go back to windows.

I hate to say this but, Windows owns at least ~80% of the market share for personal computers, so, I'd say Windows is mainstream considering the vast majority of people use it. Since the *nix community is gaining popularity, I'd put that as "trending."

And not everyone uses an emulator, and I'd look that up with Ubuntu before you post more about..

Mac OS is just as mainstream in the ironic hipster sense; everybody's trying to hop over to it because it's different and unique and nice and whatever else they pull out of their asses, but most of the time they're just on the new wave bandwagon with all their other corporate tool friends and don't actually know anything about computers, much less Macs.

and also obviously the more you spend on something the better it is RIGHT LOL

somebody's actually tried to say that before in a real life debate

I agree with you there. But you can't blame them, I mean look at the other tablets we have, look how different the software versions are and the hardware is, they're difficult to maintain. It sucks that Apple has a monopoly on their devices, but if I were to buy a smartphone or tablet right now, I'd have to go with the iPhone or iPad. Expensive yes, but it's a business. Sometimes you have to pay a lot to get something that works, and works well. Ya know?

Within the last year the Android market actually overtook the iPhone, in my opinion. The only real argument against it at this point is the comparative sizes of the App Stores, but honestly that's a weak case because the Apple App Store was once just as small. It's all about development, and being much newer the Android technology will obviously take a period to catch up. The hardware in the phones is already superior, and in my opinion ICS (I have the Galaxy Nexus and have been running 4.0 since I was the only phone able to) is much better than iOS.

True Story!

So because I have exclusive access to the latest technology to be informed in what I'm talking about, I'm wrong? o.O

Also ICS has been on other phones for a while now lmao I just said I had it back when I WAS in the small percentage.
