hi to all cheat engine members

ok i am trying to make a trainer for god father 2 v 1.0.768.0
anyway
i found the code that i want and replaced it with code that does nothing
after that you can see the code in advanced option
when i try to make a trainer i don't find the code that i changed
that is in cheat engine 6.2 but in 5.6 i can find it and make a trainer with it

what changed in the new 6.2 cheat engine ?
did i did something wrong ?
do i have to learn lua to make a trainer ?

It's best to learn lua ,write the whole trainerscript manually and then just save as .exe and generate the trainer

But if you want a generic trainer that doesn't allow much difference just do this:
Give each cheat entry you wish in your trainer one or more hotkeys
Then go to file->generate generic trainer lua script from table
Set the process it should open, make some minor changes like colors and positions, then click generate trainer.

tip: Save as .ct so you can make changes later, you can not reopen .exe's

how to give them a hotkey at all t

90 is the opcode for nop, no operation, or "the code that does nothing" as you put it.

The original bytes are what he also posted, so you can disable your trainer and have limited ammo again on hotkey press (toggle).

As for your bytes, they will always be different depending on the function that your target uses to inc/dec ammo/health/whatever you're trying to train. Instead of having a nop sled, you're far better off finding a dec or sub in your code, and nop'ing or replacing sub reg,1 with sub reg,0 where reg is the register holding ammo. This will prevent any unwanted effects and generally make your trainer easier to make.

Are you sure you found these addresses if you're asking people what they are and how to find them in games? Embarassed
